The Association of International Students (AIS) at the WSG University in Bydgoszcz is a student organization that plays a key role in integrating and activating international students. Our goal is to create a welcoming community where every international student can feel at home, develop academically and professionally, and establish international friendships.

Our Mission and Vision

Our mission is to build an inclusive academic environment for international students, support their personal and professional development, and promote cultural diversity.

We strive for AIS to be an organization that actively shapes the life of the international community at the university by offering a wide range of events and initiatives that foster integration, development, and academic and professional success.

What do we do?

AIS is a place where international students can meet, discover new cultures, and spend time together. We regularly organize: • Integration events – thematic parties, networking opportunities, and social gatherings. 

  • Educational meetings, workshops, and training sessions – opportunities to gain new knowledge and experience in various fields. 
  • Cultural events – showcasing traditions, cuisine, and music from different nations. 
  • Charity events – because bringing a smile to others is always worth it. 
  • Game nights – communication and board games among friends. 

Everyone can find something for themselves!

AIS is also an organization for those who want to gain new skills and experience. Members can: 

  • Get involved in organizing events, 
  • Develop leadership and organizational skills, 
  • Gain experience valuable in the job market.

What we done

Thanks to the engagement of our members and the implementation of our strategic plans, AIS is proud of: 

  • An increasing number of active students, 
  • A growing variety of events with high participation, 
  • Strengthening cooperation with the university and other organizations, 
  • Rising interest in AIS within the academic community. 

Founded by students in 2011, AIS has been actively working for the university and student community since its inception. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic and the outbreak of the full-scale war in Ukraine significantly limited our activities. However, in 2023, the organization was reborn with renewed energy and began to develop dynamically.

Over the past two years, we have organized many events that we are proud of, including: 

  • Co potrafisz – a legendary talent show where every talent matters and has great power! 
  • Bal studentów – Student Ball – an elegant evening full of unforgettable experiences, beautiful dresses, stylish suits, music, and dancing. 
  • Halloween Horror Path – an event filled with thrills and screams for all participants! 
  • Numerous charity and integration events that strengthen bonds between students. 
  • Workshops and training sessions to support personal development and skill-building. 
  • Game nights that bring lots of excitement and great fun among students. 

AIS continuously strives to create a space that fosters integration, development, and collaboration among students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
